Big Brother is Watching
The Palmolive Building, formerly the Playboy Club back in the sixties cuts a handsome art-deco figure with the John Hancock in the back. Initially property owners on the North Side of Michigan Avenue were furious with the developers of the John Hancock. There are still some negative feelings about it. However, most people are happy to have one of the two iconic buildings of the city in neighborhood. Most of the skyscrapers, including the Sears Tower are located in the far more populated business section of the city called the “Loop.”

Most likely made in the 195Os, Swiss-built, runs as it was designed to. Seems odd, we’ve run away from that camera and for some good reasons like the cost of film and film development. However, if you ever want something different, better, even for a few minutes, this camera will shoot you some film that will knock your peepers out.

Late night New Orleans
Walk about three blocks past the circus atmosphere on Bourbon Street and you’ll find a few of NOLA’s gay bars.
Have a Coke and a smile and then get about 25 people laughing like hell near the check out area because the sight of those carts made sense to no one.
I was in Jewel-Osco tonight and I turned around because of an extra creaky sounding cart. I just started laughing out loud because it was so shocking. “What in the world are you doing there?”He was laughing harder than me. He said it was for a “pop party” His mom was laughing harder than anyone, but she didn’t want her picture taken. I asked one more time and he stuck with his pop party story, but winked. Coke was on sale, but no more so than any other store. He was hilarious dead-panning one moment and belly the laughing the next. I told him he could leave a three mile swath of kids with rotten teeth and their moms would chase him down.
